do you remember that time we went to cold springs and it turned out we missed the main attraction, the hiking trails? well a few weeks back we decided to go check them out. so we took the train from grand central up into the hudson valley. it was one of the first sunny weekends of spring and so we got to basque in the sun as we hiked higher and higher, taking in the view down into the valley. taking time to get out of the city always reminds us that we need it, just the quiet, stillness of the country gave us time to reflect. we talked about our time so far in new york, our hopes and dreams for the future and so we left feeling refreshed and energised, ready to face the city once more.
